Week of April 15 - 21
After months of hard work and dedication, it is time for us to shine at the Sunset Wave League Finals on our home turf! This is a two-week league championship meet that kicks off on Thursday. Here are the details:
- On Thursday, Frosh/Soph and JV throwers will compete at Marina HS (Map Link). Events start at 3 PM. Throwers are asked to meet at Marina HS at 2 PM. You will be released from school early and are on your own for transportation to/from the meet.
- On Friday, the events below will compete at HBHS, starting at 3 PM. Athletes will be released from school early and are to report to the track by 1:45 PM:
- Frosh/Soph and JV sprints (finals)
- Frosh/Soph and JV hurdles (finals)
- Frosh/Soph and JV 4x100 and 4x400 relays (finals)
- Frosh/Soph and JV 800 and 1600 runners (finals)
- Frosh/Soph and JV LJ, TJ, and HJ (finals)
- Varsity 100 and 200 sprinters (prelim rounds)
- Varsity 3200 runners (finals)

Team History
Huntington Beach Cross Country and Track has a proud tradition of success. Established in 1906, HBHS is one of the oldest high schools in Orange County. In the '80s and '90s Huntington was a force to be reckoned with, producing some of the top teams and athletes in the state, and in the past several years we've been on the up-swing again!
